very few people are “born” into entrepreneurship, most make the transition from other work experience.

Will it happen overnight? No. Will it happen with your first product launch? Also probably no! That’s the whole point of stacking the bricks and strategically creating small wins that add up to big wins. The key is starting off using your advantages (everything in 30x500 is designed for that) and to work a long game strategy.

Instead of making the goal to replace your corporate salary (which is the big win), my favorite advice is to focus on replacing portions of your income one at a time. Start small so you can feel the win: make enough sales to cover one of your bills. Then another. Then another. Work up to your biggest bills like rent/mortgage. Along the way, you’ll earn confidence and experience as well as the trust of your audience and customers.

That’s just one way to think about it, but again, the key lesson to impart here is to think about the big goal as the sum of many small goals. Focus your immediate attention on them, make them happen.
